Travel Sane parses travel booking confirmations and organises them into a chronological timeline that flags missing nights and tight connections. By using Travel Sane, you agree to these terms.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account and use Travel Sane.
You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for all activity under your account. We use magic links — there are no passwords to manage.
You retain ownership of the booking confirmations, documents, and other content you submit. By submitting content, you grant Travel Sane a limited license to process, store, and display it back to you for the purpose of providing the service — including sending booking text to Anthropic's API for parsing, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not use your content to train AI models or for any purpose beyond operating the service for you.
If you upload passports, visas, insurance documents, or other identity documents, you confirm you have the right to upload them and that doing so is your choice — these documents are never sent to any AI model and are stored in a private, encrypted file store tied to your account only.
The free tier lets you build and view unlimited trips with up to 3 bookings per trip, including the timeline and flag detection. The Pro tier (a one-time payment of $75) adds unlimited bookings plus output and convenience features — PDF download, shareable links, CSV export, and email forwarding. Pricing is displayed at checkout and may change with notice.
The Pro payment is a one-time, lifetime purchase. If you are unhappy with Travel Sane, contact us at hello@travel-sane.com within 14 days of purchase and we will refund you, provided you have not made extensive use of Pro-only features. Outside this window, refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis. If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you may have a statutory right to withdraw within 14 days of purchase; by completing checkout and gaining immediate access to Pro features, you acknowledge and agree that this right ends once you begin using the service, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Travel Sane uses AI to extract data from booking confirmations. Extraction may occasionally be incomplete or incorrect. Always verify critical travel details — flights, hotel check-ins, departure times — against your original confirmation. We are not liable for errors in parsed output.
Travel Sane is provided as-is without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Travel Sane is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including missed flights, accommodation issues, or any travel-related loss. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or liability that cannot be waived under the mandatory consumer-protection law of your country of residence.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may close your account at any time using the “Delete account” option in Settings, or by emailing hello@travel-sane.com.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email before material changes take effect. Continued use of the service after notice constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR, without regard to conflict of law principles, except that if you are a consumer resident in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction that grants you mandatory consumer protections, those protections apply and take precedence over any conflicting provision here.
