Privacy Policy

When you use Travel Sane, we collect:

• Your email address — used to sign you in via magic link. Nothing else.
• Booking confirmations you paste or upload — sent to Anthropic's API to extract structured trip data. We store the extracted data (dates, carriers, confirmation numbers) in your account. Raw text is not stored after parsing.
• Trip and booking records — the structured output of your parsed confirmations, stored so your timeline persists between sessions.
• Billing information — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store card details.

We use your data to provide the service — building your trip timeline, detecting gaps, and managing your subscription. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties beyond what is listed below.

Travel Sane uses the following services. Each has its own privacy policy.

• Supabase — database and authentication (servers in Singapore)
• Anthropic — AI parsing of booking confirmations
• Stripe — payment processing
• Vercel — hosting and infrastructure

Booking confirmation text you submit is sent to Anthropic for parsing. Do not submit documents containing information you are not comfortable sharing with a third-party AI provider.

Your trip and booking data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual bookings or entire trips at any time from within the app. To delete your account and all associated data, email privacy@travel-sane.com.

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@travel-sane.com. If you are located in the European Economic Area, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you by email. Continued use of the service after notice constitutes acceptance.
